ESPN Scouting Report: Eatmon brings some options to the table in how he could be used at the college level. He possesses good size. Has great height and looks to carry his bulk well and on film seems to have the room to add more additional size with some time in a college weight program. There is some merit to him as a prospect on both offense and defense. As a defensive line prospect he has good size and displays the ability to use his reach well to engage and separate from blockers. Flashes the ability to keep good pad level, but with his height needs to focus on staying low. He lines up at defensive end, but continued growth would likely force him inside to defensive tackle in college which might be the better fit anyway. While defense is an option the offensive side of the ball may be the best fit for him in the long run. He plays tight end and is an interesting prospect there. A big kid who also plays basketball he moves fairly well. Catches the ball well and when he extends his arms and catches the ball with his hands he presents a big target. He is nice red-zone target with his size and ability to jump some. Past that likely a short-to-intermediate target in the passing game. His blocking is a bit of a question, but displays the ability to be able to contribute as an in-line blocker. If he stays at tight end will likely be like an extra lineman on the field who can catch a few passes. While he displays enough to be considered at tight end, he may find himself at offensive tackle before it is all said and done. Some time to develop will be needed, but he displays the size and tools to develop into a good tackle and that may ultimately be where his greatest worth is at. A kid with good size, ability and versatility. Eatmon is a good prospect who displays some good upside.
